Today I will be showing you my Top Seven Features on Windows 10
1. Universal Applications:
Seamless transition across devices is something you don’t wanna miss on Windows 10. Microsoft has introduced a new category of software called Universal Apps, which runs the same code on all devices but adapt the interface to the device in your hand. Microsoft has also bundled its own set of Universal apps with the windows 10 Operating System, including Photos, Videos, Music, Maps, Mail & Calendar, and even Microsoft Office which all function the same way on all platforms (tablets, phones and PCs) with the content being stored and synced via Microsoft’s cloud service OneDrive so you can pick up where you left off on another device and so on.
2. New Start Menu
With the new start menu, when you click on the Start button at the bottom left of the screen or with the start button on the keyboard, you get two panels side by side, with the one on the right showing the windows 8 start menu display (though a minimized version) and the panel to the left displays the following: recently added apps, most-used apps and a list of all other apps on the computer. Also on the left pane, you get the power options button, settings button, pictures, documents and user menu where you can change Account settings, lock the system and sign out of opened user account.
3. Microsoft Edge Web Browser
Internet Explorer have been replaced with Microsoft Edge, which features a new rendering engine called Edge HTML. Edge also integrates with the Cortana Digital Assistant to provide voice control, search, and personalized info to users. MS Edge also house a function called “Reading List” function that syncs content between devices and a “Reading Mode” that strips out formatting to allow easier reading on devices. this makes it stand up to rival browsers, such as google Chrome.
4. Logging in
Windows 10 has also introduced other means of logging into your system other than the regular password interface and finger print (for the systems having a finger print sensor). Now you can also sign in by default using PIN or even a PICTURE. So cool right? This makes logging into your system much faster and ever more secured.
5. Cortana Integration
Windows 10 also has a Microsoft’s voice-controlled digital assistant called “Cortana”. Cortana makes it easier for you to interact with your device without lifting a finger, typing or even clicking a mouse. you will be able to do a whole lot just by getting the attention of your voice assistance after activating her (default is always deactivated) by saying “Hey Cortana” and go right into your conversation with ease.
6. Office Applications Touch Support
The new versions of Microsoft office suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, outlook, …) provides a touch response interface across all platforms meaning you will get almost same feel on your desktop computer like you have when using your mobile phones. For example; in outlook, from your inbox you can swipe on an entry to the left to delete it.
7. Multiple Virtual Desktops
Windows 10 provides multiple desktops that you can work in and quickly switch between them. This feature in Windows 10 is called “Task View” and is located on the Taskbar. To add a new desktop, all you need to do is click the Plus sign. You create multiple desktops, and switching between them is just a matter of clicking the Task View button again and moving your mouse over the thumbnail of the one you want.

This design is incredible! You most certainly know how to keep a reader amused.
Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to
start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Great job. I really loved what you had to say, and
more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!
You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but
I find this matter to be really something that I think I would never understand.
It seems too complex and very broad for me. I am looking forward for your next post,
I’ll try to get the hang of it!
It’s actually very difficult in this active life to listen news on TV, so I just use world
wide web for that purpose, and get the hottest information.
Heya i am for the first time here. I came across this board and
